Affinity/Identity Communities

What are Affinity/Identity Communities?

Affinity/Identity Communities offer specialized resources for students of multiple identities. On these pages, you’ll find guides to help you navigate common situations and issues, relevant articles and links, and much more.

We currently have the following Identity/Affinity Communities with related resources:

  • Ethnic/Racial Minorities
  • International Students
  • Visible/Invisible Disabilities
  • LGBTQ+
  • English Language Learners
  • First Generation College Students

Opportunities in Your Inbox

By joining an Identity/Affinity Community at Earlham, you’ll start receiving information from the Epic Centers and other Earlham departments and groups about upcoming opportunities related to that community. That means special invitations to events, timely communications about internships and jobs, and much, much more.

Join Your Community

It’s easy to get started. Just log into uConnect (see the top right-hand corner of this page) and fill out your preferences, making sure you select the Identity/Affinity Communities you’re most interested in. You can log in and change your selections at any time.
