INTD 199: International Student Success
This course provides tools to succeed as an international student at Earlham. We discuss cross-cultural adjustment and communication, classroom expectations, using participants’ current and past experiences as the basis for discussion. We examine Liberal Arts education and U.S. classroom culture, including expectations and policies at Earlham. We allow for discovery and reflection related to students’ rights and responsibilities while at Earlham. Finally, students explore resources and opportunities available at Earlham College and in the Richmond community.
