Maternal Health Simulation Externship

Location: Richmond, IN

  • Share This: Share Maternal Health Simulation Externship on FacebookShare Maternal Health Simulation Externship on LinkedInShare Maternal Health Simulation Externship on Twitter

Recognizing the issue of high maternal mortality rate in Indiana, students work with The Little Timmy Project to create a maternal health simulation. Students are hoping to educate and advocate for those that are the most harshly affected by maternal care deserts and gaps in care related to race – especially for women and children of color. We hope the simulation will assist healthcare professionals in service provision by being able to relate to different backgrounds that mothers and children come from.
