Earlham Summer Collaborative Research
Location: Richmond, IN
Earlham Summer Collaborative Research is an opportunity for students to get multiple hands-on experiences in research and literature review in many fields. Every summer, faculty offer many research projects for students to participate in. Projects usually vary in their format and goal. Some are in person, hybrid, and virtual. These research positions are a full-time position over summer that are paid. Students participating in this opportunity can count it toward their original research requirement for the natural sciences majors. It can also be counted as the research requirement for departmental honors for all majors. This is a great chance for students to also apply the knowledge they gained in class and over their courses as a part of these research projects. Students Also get the opportunity to present results at conferences and multiple professional events around the globe.
Faculty usually propose their projects during the Fall semester and all information regarding these projects, number of participants, application instructions will be available in the Spring. Get a head start and start speaking with faculty members to indicate your interest. Also, keep an eye on your email and the Earlham Newsletter for more information about application deadlines and requirements.
